3D Printing: From Idea to Model
Curious about 3D printing? Learn more about the possibilities and limitations in this bite-sized demonstration that covers the entire process – from concept to object. Topics covered included generating a computer model, conversion of the model to a “3D printer friendly” file, setting up the parameters for the 3D printer and finally printing the object. Examples will be shown of art related models from jewelry to more functional and artistic items.
Open Print Studio
Do you have unfinished plates or blocks collecting dust? Or perhaps you have an idea you want to try but need a refresher on how to use the press. If you have some experience making any type of intaglio or reflief prints (dry point, etching, collagraph, wood block, etc.) but need a little helping hand, this open studio is for you. Jerry Riach will be in the studio ready to help you complete your project or move on to the next step. Some experience required, bring your own supplies or purchase basic items directly from the Instructor (please let us know in advance what you will need). This class qualifies you to use the Print Studio Independently.

Write From The Heart
–For Military Veterans, Friends, and Family
Explore your inner landscapes. Experiment with what is fragmented, silenced, joyful. Using writing prompts, we will illuminate parts of our personal histories and begin to craft them into works of art. This workshop will focus on the writing process not product. All levels welcome. No previous writing experience necessary.
