It was another one of those magical evenings along Lake Superior’s North Shore. Karla and I were staying in Two Harbors and I heard on SpaceWeather.com that the Friday the 13th moon would be a good one. Since it was the night after the full moon the sky was darker creating better lighting conditions. The wind had also gone down so the calm waters of Agate Bay were giving perfect reflections. I think it was one of the best moonrises that I have photographed.
